A Little Bit About Me
With over 30 years of acting experience, Karen Fleming has played a variety of roles from an overbearing mother to a crazy neighbor to the consummate professional. Her edgy voice has been described as clear, expressive, compassionate, wry, sweet, sharp, and ageless.
Growing up in Maryland, Karen fell in love with performing as a kid, often playing broad characters. After getting her BFA, she performed with the Pennsylvania Renaissance Faire, immersing herself in improvisation. Karen took a break from acting full time to raise her sons, while working mainly in the construction and finance industries. She continued to perform onstage and on camera part-time; however, with the pandemic, she’s returning to her first love fulltime. Accents include New York, Southern, RP, Cockney, Irish, and Russian.
Professionally trained in voice acting, and with her home studio all set, Karen is ready to bring your words to life!
